Listen to the birds, meander through the rainforest and spot a koala, walk the coastline and see whales, dolphins and turtles or walk down to the beach within minutes.

Our home is located at the trail-head of the Noosa National Park walking tracks and a 6-minute walk to funky Duke Street gourmet cafes and award-winning restaurants.

Getting Around

Everything in Sunshine Beach is accessible by any easy walk.

There are also regular local buses (which are free over the Christmas, New Year and Easter periods) that travel between Sunshine Beach and Hastings Street, Noosa Junction, Noosaville and Peregian Beach. The bus stop is located 100 metres from Villa Ohana Pono.

Maroochydore airport is only a 20-minute drive from Villa Ohana Pono and there are many bus companies that pick up from your door, and drop off to Brisbane (1.5 hours away) and Maroochydore airports. We have found Sunshine Coast Private Transfers are an excellent and reliable service for airport transfers.

There are many hire car companies at either Maroochydore of Brisbane Airports and in Noosa itself. Uber is very popular in the area, and there is a local Taxi service that is very reliable.
